Trip to the Army Museum in Waiouru
Today saw an early morning start for some of us with our trip to The National Army Museum in Waiouru. This is always a fun day trip for our cadets. The van ride was filled with laughter and a great chance for the cadets to strengthen their team bond in a more relaxed social way.
Our cadets had a great time exploring and learning new things while visiting the Army Museum like learning about the history of our army and people who have served for our country, seeing historic items and medals, testing our skills in the section about the phonetic alphabet and morse code was fun.
Of course we had to stop in at the kids area and try our hand at the puzzle table and have some fun playing pretend; driving a truck and climbing through the wooden tunnels were a hit.
It was no surprise that the van ride home was a lot quieter than the van ride there.. A sign of a great and busy day.
